Custom invitations and event paper

Invitations worth keeping

Most invitations get looked at once and thrown away. The ones that don't are the ones somebody actually designed. I make those, for one party at a time.

You already know what you want. You just can't make it.

You've saved eleven things you love and none of them are quite right. The template sites give you a font menu and wish you luck. The design marketplaces send you a stranger in a different time zone who has never thrown a party. What you want is one person with taste who will look at your colours, your venue and your kid, and make the thing you pictured.

Step 1

Tell me about it

The date, the occasion, the colours, and one photo of something you love. Five minutes, one form.

Step 2

Get your First Look

In three days you get one finished concept, designed for your event. Not a mockup. The real thing.

Step 3

We refine it

Two rounds of changes are included. Most people use one.

Step 4

Everything arrives

Print-ready files, a version sized for texting, and one for stories. Yours to use forever.

What I make

Custom invitations

Designed from nothing for one event. No template underneath.

From $285

Digital invitations

Designed to be texted, emailed or posted. Not an Evite template.

From $225

Save the dates

The first thing anyone sees. Sets the tone for everything after.

From $185

Thank you cards

The piece everyone forgets until the week after the party.

From $145

Event flyers

For schools, churches, studios and anyone running a calendar.

From $125

Day-of paper

Menus, place cards, table numbers, programs and signage.

From $95

Announcements

New baby, new house, new name, new chapter.

From $165

Party printables

Favour tags, envelope liners, stickers, banners, water bottle labels.

From $75

Digital delivery, and that's on purpose

Everything is delivered as files. You text the invitation, post it to a story, or send it to whichever printer you like. You're not paying me to mark up card stock, and you're not waiting on shipping two weeks before the party. If you want it printed, I'll tell you exactly where to send it and what to ask for.

Collections, ready this week

Wedding

The full suite, or just the invitation. Both are normal.

Baby shower

Soft without being saccharine. The most-requested collection here.

Birthday party

Any age, any scale. The most flexible thing I design.

Gender reveal

Modern, without the balloon-and-question-mark cliché.

Baptism

Quiet, cream on cream, the least busy thing in the studio.

Pool party

Sun-bleached and a little retro. For the July birthday nobody wants indoors.

Holiday party

Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year and everything in December.

Housewarming

Warm, architectural, grown up. For the first party in the new place.

Worth saying out loud

What I don't do

  • Logos, brand identities or brand kits
  • Websites, packaging or general graphic design
  • Printing, mailing or shipping anything physical
  • Guest list management or RSVP hosting

If that's what you need, I'm not the right person, and I'd rather tell you now than take the work.

San Diego

Local, if you want local

Everything is digital, so where you are makes no difference to the work. But if you're in San Diego County we can meet, look at paper on a table, and talk about the party properly. I cover all 67 cities in the county.

Let's see what it could look like

The First Look is $45 and takes three days. It's the least awkward way to find out if we're a fit, and if you don't love it you keep the file and owe nothing further.
